Make Your New Year’s Health a Priority Now

By December 1st, when the holiday season is already in play, this is the time to make your New Year’s health a priority. If you set the tone now, you will make mindful food choices during this holiday party season and into January 1st, 2020! First, set some specific goals:

  1. Limit the number of alcoholic beverages you consume before you go to a party.
  2. Eat a healthy light snack before you leave so you won’t be ravenous and make poor choices.
  3. Limit the number of sweets you will allow yourself each week.
  4. Measure yourself with a sewing tape measure. Measure yourself 1x a week of every other week and if the numbers go up, review your food intake and get back at it.
