By December 1st, when the holiday season is already in play, this is the time to make your New Year’s health a priority. If you set the tone now, you will make mindful food choices during this holiday party season and into January 1st, 2020! First, set some specific goals:
- Limit the number of alcoholic beverages you consume before you go to a party.
- Eat a healthy light snack before you leave so you won’t be ravenous and make poor choices.
- Limit the number of sweets you will allow yourself each week.
- Measure yourself with a sewing tape measure. Measure yourself 1x a week of every other week and if the numbers go up, review your food intake and get back at it.
