On July 19th, 2018, Guest Services executives and partners gathered to celebrate the historic groundbreaking of the future location for one of the most innovative senior living communities in the state, The Pineapple House at Sapphire Lakes in Naples, Florida. Set for a fall 2019 grand opening, this upcoming state-of-the-art property at 7901 Radio Road will offer assisted-living and memory care residents progressive levels of exceptional service in a resort-style environment.
Brooke Sullivan, multimedia specialist, organized the event by coordinating with caterers, construction company partners, stakeholder guests, and all associated vendors.
“We welcomed major local influencers, Guest Services executives, and Pineapple House stakeholders and invited everyone to take part in the ceremonial shoveling of dirt that symbolized the official beginning of construction,” says Brooke.
“The event featured three speakers: Scott Shepherd [chief commercial officer at Guest Services], John Gonzales [president of senior living at Guest Services], and Michael Kerner [spokesperson for the Florida ownership group.] Each expressed their excitement over the new senior living community and their gratitude for all who were in attendance.”
“Under the branded tents, hors d’oeuvres and refreshing beverages were available as well as gold shovel plaques and media kits. It was a very successful ceremony and a delightful experience for everyone. I think we all left with a great sense of pride and excitement for what this innovative community will bring,” says Brooke.
The beautifully designed community will feature 127 world-class living quarters, an open-air courtyard for residents’ relaxation, an industry-leading wellness center that will include fitness and massage areas, a hydrotherapy room, a beauty salon, and a swimming pool.
Residents will also be treated to numerous avenues for life enrichment and entertainment, such as an ultramodern theater room, library, chapel, and crafts room. Other service offerings will include an on-site medical director with a team of trained health and wellness professionals, chef-inspired menus and culinary programs, a life-enrichment director to create a full calendar of events, as well as concierge and transportation services.
